Before you apply
We don't book performers who play to tracks.
Our CEO has been a working musician his entire life. When Onstage was founded, he made a decision that has never wavered: backing tracks cannot be used to replace live musicians on our stages. If you use tracks to fill out the sound, every part on that track needs a live player standing on stage performing it. A horn section on the track means a trumpet, trombone, and sax player performing live. No exceptions.
Drum machines are never allowed. Period. While a drum machine runs, there's a talented drummer sitting at home not making a living. That's the opposite of what we're here to do.
We exist to put real performers in front of real audiences, and we protect that standard on every booking.
